We’re adding a new page to the site – Save Local Augusta. This page will showcase sales, discounts, and special offers for local businesses – making it easier for customers to find and support you!
How Will the Save Local Augusta Page Work?
🔹A single page on our site will be dedicated to displaying promotions and coupons for participating local businesses
🔹To redeem the featured promotions, there will be 2 options:
1. ONLINE: Businesses can either provide a link to their website (with or without a coupon code), and customers may redeem the promotion online
2. IN-PERSON: Customers will be asked to provide the coupon on their mobile device to the place of business to redeem the promotion
Before the full launch of the program, we’d like to invite a small number of locally owned small businesses to join our Save Local Augusta – Exclusive Launch Partner Program.
Eligible businesses will submit their promotional listings during this Launch and will be promoted for 30 days after publication, during which time the offers and promotions will actively be shared with our 12k+ email subscribers and our 3.5k Facebook followers.

No matter when you sign up during the launch, your listing will be visible for a minimum of 30 days after we approve it.

- A chance to be showcased in our public launch campaign as one of the first businesses involved.
What happens after the Initial Phase of the Launch Partner Program?
At the end of the 30-day promotion of your listing, you will be invited to continue membership of the program. You will receive a reminder before your listing expires, giving you the option to continue as a Save Local Augusta Promotion Partner at a discounted membership rate. This membership is billed month-to-month, no long-term obligation, no contracts required.
If you choose not to continue, your promotional listing will be removed from the page.
Who is Eligible to Participate?
Save Local Augusta is dedicated to promoting independent/locally owned and operated small businesses that contribute positively to the community.
Eligible businesses include, but are not limited to:
- Restaurants, cafes, and food service providers
- Retail stores and boutiques
- Personal care services (e.g., salons, spas, massage therapy)
- Health and wellness services (e.g., fitness studios, yoga, personal training)
- Professional services (e.g., accounting, marketing, legal, financial, consulting)
- Home services (e.g., cleaning, repair, landscaping)
- Arts, entertainment, and recreational businesses
- Local artisans, handmade product sellers, and specialty vendors
- Wedding and Event planners and vendors
To maintain a family-friendly and community-focused platform, the following types of businesses are not eligible to participate:
- Businesses that promote illegal, discriminatory, or fraudulent activities
- Adult-oriented businesses, including those related to explicit content or adult entertainment
- Tobacco, vaping, CBD, or recreational drug-related businesses
- Businesses involved in gambling, pyramid schemes, or multi-level marketing (MLM)
- Political campaigns, lobbying organizations, or causes that promote divisive ideologies
- Businesses that promote hate speech, violence, or unethical practices
Save Local Augusta reserves the right to reject, remove, or deny participation to any business that does not align with the platform’s values and mission. If a business is unsure whether they qualify, they may contact us at hello@shoplocalaugusta.co for clarification before submitting a promotion.
Refund Policy
- The $29 participation fee is non-refundable once a promotion has been approved and published on the Save Local Augusta page.
- If a submitted promotion or business type does not meet eligibility requirements, we will contact you to discuss potential adjustments.
- If it is determined that the business or listing cannot meet our guidelines, the participation fee will be refunded.
- If a business chooses to cancel their listing at any time, they will not be eligible for a refund.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
🔹 Can I submit more than one promotion?
At this time, each participating business may submit multiple promotions for a non-refundable fee of $29 each. A new form must be submitted for each listing.
🔹 What if I need to change my promotion after submitting it?
No problem! You can modify your promotion at any time by contacting us. Updates may take up to 3 business days to reflect on the website.
🔹 What happens after my 30-day promotion period ends?
If you don’t renew your listing, your promotion will be removed from the Save Local Augusta page. You will receive a reminder before your listing expires with the option to continue.
🔹 Is the participation fee refundable?
No, the $29 fee is non-refundable and covers promotional costs, including marketing to our audience.
🔹 Can I promote my Events on Save Local Augusta?
Save Local Augusta primarily showcases discounts and promotions on products and services. However, we recognize that events can also benefit from increased visibility.
For the Exclusive Launch Partner Program, only events with a specific date and a promotional offer on ticket prices qualify. Acceptable promotions include:
✅ BOGO (Buy One, Get One Free) ticket offers
✅ Discounted admission (e.g., 20% off ticket price)
✅ Free ticket with purchase of another product or service
Events that are already free to attend (e.g., karaoke nights, farmers’ markets, recurring community gatherings) do not qualify for promotion through this program.
Please note, if the Save Local Augusta promotion proves successful, we are considering launching a separate calendar of events specifically for event promotion in the future. Stay tuned for more details!
How to Sign Up:
During this initial launch, we are only accepting a limited number of participants for this program.
The $29 participation fee is non-refundable unless your business or promotion does not meet our eligibility guidelines.
To participate, the following 3 items are required:
1️⃣ Submit a promotion for your business using the form that is provided. It will be reviewed, and you will be notified of approval and publication within 1-2 business days.
2️⃣ Read and agree to the Save Local Augusta Exclusive Launch Partner Program terms and conditions.
3️⃣ Submit a non-refundable participation fee of $29, which covers the cost of actively promoting your business during the initial launch period.
