Terms & Conditions for Save Local Augusta Business Promotions

By participating in the Save Local Augusta Exclusive Launch Partner Program, businesses agree to comply with the following Terms & Conditions.

These terms ensure fairness, clarity, and the integrity of all promotions listed on the platform and participation in the program. Failure to comply may result in the removal of a promotion and/or termination of membership without refund.


1. Promotion Requirements

  • All submitted promotions must offer a specific dollar discount, percentage discount, or promotional offer for a service or product.
    (For example: $5 off total purchase, 20% discount, FREE ITEM (with or without purchase), FREE consultation or assessment).
  • Promotions must include clear redemption parameters including valid dates, eligible products/services, and how to redeem the product. Expiration dates are recommended but not required.
  • Ambiguous or unclear language in the promotion submission may delay publication until the business provides necessary clarification.

2. Complaints & Promotion Removal Policy

  • All customer complaints will be forwarded to the business contact that submitted the promotion for clarification and response. Please be sure to provide an accessible point of contact.
  • If the complaint is due to ambiguous language, the business may update the promotion to provide clarity.
  • If a complaint is due to a violation of the promotion’s terms by the customer and/or improper behavior at the business, the promotion will not be removed.
  • If complaints indicate that a business refuses to honor the promotion without a valid basis, the promotion will be reviewed for possible removal.
  • If a promotion is removed due to excessive valid and verifiable complaints, no refund will be given and the business’s privilege to list promotions on the SLA site will be immediately revoked.

3. Modifications & Updates

  • Businesses may modify a promotion after it is published by submitting an email request to the SLA’s admin at hello@shoplocalaugusta.co
  • There are no restrictions on the number of modifications that may be made however requested changes may take up to 3 business days to visibly take effect on the platform.

4. Promotion Duration & Removal

  • Promotions will remain active on the site as long as the business maintains their Save Local Augusta Promotional Partner membership.
  • Vendors may cancel their Save Local Augusta Promotional Partner membership at any time, there are no contractual obligations or minimum participation durations.
  • If a business cancels their Save Local Augusta Promotional Partner membership, all active promotions will be taken down at the end of the current monthly billing period.
  • If a business wishes to remove or set an expiration date for a promotion, they must submit a written request to SLA at hello@shoplocalaugusta.co

5. Business Conduct & Good Faith Agreement

  • Businesses agree to honor all promotions as advertised without hidden conditions, misleading terms, or unreasonable restrictions.
  • Failure to act in good faith (e.g., repeatedly refusing to honor promotions or misleading customers) may result in removal from the SLA platform without refund.

6. Dispute Resolution & SLA’s Limited Responsibility

  • Save Local Augusta is not responsible for disputes between businesses and customers regarding promotions.
  • SLA will make reasonable efforts to facilitate resolutions when issues arise but cannot guarantee dispute outcomes.
  • Businesses and customers are both expected to independently take measures to resolve disputes directly in good faith.

7. Exclusive Launch Partner Program Participation

  • As participants in the Exclusive Launch Partner Program, vendors agree to provide feedback regarding various aspects of the process, including:
    • How the submission and publication process works.
    • How the promotion impacts my business.
    • Whether they observe a significant increase in sales or inquiries as a result of their published promotion.
  • In exchange for my participation and feedback, vendors in good standing by the end of the Launch period will be eligible to continue promoting their listings at a discounted monthly rate for the duration of their Save Local Augusta Promotional Partner membership.
  • If they cancel their discounted Save Local Augusta Promotional Partner membership, they forfeit access to the discounted rate in the future. If they choose to rejoin at a later date, they acknowledge that they will be subject to the current standard rate at that time.

8. Agreement to Terms

By submitting my payment and promotion, vendor participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. Shop Local Augusta reserves the right to update these terms at any time to maintain fairness and transparency for all participating businesses.
