We’re inviting Augusta’s most-loved locally owned businesses—like yours—to help us launch BOSLA 2025 (Best of Shop Local Augusta) with a fun, high-visibility giveaway campaign rooted in community spirit and local pride.
This isn’t your average giveaway, it’s an interactive trivia experience that engages locals, promotes your business, and highlights everything that makes Augusta great!
Giveaway Vendor Information
What is the SLA Trivia Giveaway?
We’re putting a twist on plain old giveaways by teaming up with Augusta’s locally famous trivia hosts—the ones you see running game nights at your favorite breweries, restaurants, and bars to make this campaign truly community-centered.
Each day from July 21–25, we’ll post a different trivia host asking 3 – 5 questions in short video clips.
These questions will cover topics like:
- Augusta history and notable events
- Local landmarks and hidden gems
- Arts, culture, and food
- Beloved small businesses (like yours!)
Participants will:
- Watch the trivia video
- Answer the 3 questions
- Enter their email to be included in the daily prize drawing
- Complete tasks to earn extra entries in the drawing, such as Like a Facebook Page or Share the Contest Link
Participants from that day’s entries will be drawn at random the next morning for a Daily Prize (see below).
All participants are also automatically entered into the Grand Prize and Bonus Prize drawings at the end of the week (July 26).

Prize Levels
Daily Prizes – minimum $20 Value (5 Total)
Each day from July 21–25, we’ll give away a daily prize to one lucky trivia participant.
As a Daily Prize Vendor, you’ll receive:
- A dedicated spotlight on your assigned day
- Featured mention and tag in that day’s email to participants
- Promotion in the trivia quiz page alongside your prize
- Social media shoutout (tagged story or post on Instagram/Facebook)
- Optional: share your prize or business visually via a photo or short video
- This puts your business front-and-center for the day and drives targeted engagement.
Bonus Prizes – minimum $25 value (3 Total)
These mid-tier prizes will be drawn on July 26 and awarded to three participants.
As a Bonus Prize Vendor, you’ll be:

- Featured in the giveaway page copy
- Mentioned in multiple email blasts throughout the week
- Included in group posts spotlighting secondary prize donors
- Recognized in the winner announcement post on July 26
- This is a great fit for gift cards, mid-range services, or small product bundles that help you stay top-of-mind all week long.
You can select your preferred prize tier when you sign up.
Grand Prize – minimum $75+ Value (1 Total)
This is our most premium prize, announced on July 26 and awarded to one winner at the close of the contest.
As the Grand Prize Vendor, you’ll receive:
- Top billing in all giveaway promotions (emails, trivia pages, social posts)
- Mention in daily trivia communications
- Solo spotlight in a dedicated social media post
- Ongoing mentions and tags all week as the highlight of the prize pool
- Featured in the Grand Prize reveal and winner announcement
This position offers maximum exposure and association with the campaign’s biggest draw. Ideal for a high-value service, membership, or curated package.
Vendor Responsibilities
- Donate a prize that is a standalone item or service, not a coupon or discount (no additional purchase required)
- Coordinate directly with your assigned winner for prize delivery or pickup. We’ll contact you at the end of the contest with the contact information of your prize winner
- Allow winners to claim their prizes until August 26, 2025
- Respond to coordination emails promptly following the prize draws
What We’re Asking From You
We ask each participating business to donate a standalone prize (not a discount or “with purchase” deal).
This can be a gift card, a free service, or a physical product/ bundle
What You’ll Get as a Daily, Grand, or Bonus Prize Vendor
- Daily Prize Donors will receive a dedicated spotlight on their assigned trivia day:
- A social media post featuring your business and prize
- A tag and mention in the day’s trivia quiz and giveaway email
- Bonus feature in our Facebook Stories
- Grand & Bonus Prize Donors are highlighted all week long, across social, email, and on the quiz pages
